We provide comprehensive evaluation and management of pelvic organ prolapse. Your consultant will discuss non-surgical options like pelvic floor therapy and pessaries, as well as surgical treatments if appropriate, to restore comfort and quality of life.

Our clinic offers professional fitting, regular changing, and ongoing monitoring of vaginal pessaries. Your consultant ensures your pessary is comfortable, effective, and that your vaginal health is maintained with regular follow-up care.

We advise on and provide a range of incontinence devices, including vaginal supports and external aids. Your consultant will help select and fit the device best suited to your needs, supporting your daily comfort and confidence.

If you are experiencing abnormal vaginal bleeding, it is essential to get it checked out. We will help diagnose and treat various causes of irregular bleeding, including heavy periods, with sensitivity and expertise.

For women navigating menopause, whether it’s through natural ageing, early menopause, or after surgical intervention, Dr Bayli provides guidance and support to help manage symptoms effectively. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) options will be thoroughly discussed to determine what is best for your health and comfort.

If you need a coil inserted or removed, we have extensive experience in these procedures. Whether you’re looking for a Mirena coil, progesterone coil, or Copper coil, we will ensure the process is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Meet Dr Fidan Bayli

Dr Bayli is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, with expertise in complex obstetrics, preterm birth, urogynaecology, and hysteroscopy. After earning her medical qualifications and PhD in Azerbaijan, she completed her specialist training in the UK, including advanced training in urogynaecology and labour ward management. Dr Bayli is multilingual, speaking Russian and Turkish, and is the founder of the Azerbaijan British Doctors and Dentists Association.

Her clinical interests include managing benign gynaecological conditions like menstrual disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence, with a particular focus on preterm birth and psychosexual counselling. A dedicated researcher, Dr Bayli completed her PhD in post-term pregnancy and her MD on cervical cerclage. She secured a £2.5 million HTA grant for the C-STICH trial and serves as Principal Investigator for the C-STICH 2 trial. Dr Bayli is affiliated with the General Medical Council, the British Society of Urogynaecology, and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two sons and has a passion for sports, music, and dancing.
