Midland Health runs a private ear clinic in central Birmingham led by Consultant ENT Surgeon, Mr Amit Parmar and supported by Mr Jonathan Fussey and Mr Mriganka De. Ear Consultation
During your ear consultation, you will be seen by an ENT surgeon who will discuss your symptoms and examine your ears. If any issues are identified during the ear check-up, your Midland Health doctor will walk you through the next steps and provide you with the necessary information regarding any recommended treatment options. You will also receive a follow-up letter detailing all the findings of your ear consultation, as well as any prescriptions or treatment charges involved.
Ear Infections
From one-off ear infections caused by going for a swim or using a cotton bud, to recurring infections - ear infections can take many shapes and forms. An ear check-up will help you identify the exact type of ear infection you are suffering from, so you can start the correct treatment.
Hearing Loss
Much like ear infections, hearing loss can also have many causes. Once the root of the problem has been identified during your ear check-up, our specialist hearing clinic can provide the appropriate treatment. This includes ear wax removal to clear blockages, as well as ear surgery and hearing aid.

Our Team
Our private ear clinic in Birmingham is run under the expert guidance of Consultant ENT Surgeon, Mr Amit Parmar. A graduate of the prestigious St Bartholomew’s and Royal London School of Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he is a well-respected member of the ENT medical community in the UK and the winner of the Wolfson Fellowship and Henry Silverman ENT prize.
Having worked in Australia and the UK, Mr Parmar has extensive experience in offering ENT services to children and adults alike and currently works as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Mr Amit Parmar
Having graduated from St Bartholomew’s and Royal London School of Medicine with distinctions, trained in Great Ormond St Hospital and Melbourne Eye and Ear Hospital and won awards like the Wolfson Fellowship and Henry Silverman ENT prize, Mr Parmar is a highly-experienced adult and paediatric ENT Consultant and Surgeon.
Mr Jonathan Fussey
Mr Fussey offers adult ENT treatments for head and neck lumps, globus, thyroid problems, salivary gland issues, voice changes and dizziness. He graduated from Birmingham Medical School with honours before completing a research doctorate and working as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute.
