Your Visa Medicals - What to Expect 

At Midland Health Birmingham, we offer a comprehensive private service to obtain visa medical certificates for a wide range of destinations. The process involves the following:

• GP Consultation: You will have an appointment with one of our experienced GPs where you will discuss your health and your medical history. If needed, you may undergo additional physical examinations, blood tests and referral for investigations if required. 
• Physical Assessments: The required physical examinations range from general observations, such as height and weight, to more detailed assessments that require blood tests and heart rate measurements.
• Follow-up Tests: You may be booked in for follow-up blood tests, X-rays, ECG and other additional investigations as required for your visa medical certificate. Most of these can be performed in our private clinic in Birmingham without the need for referrals, so the process is as quick and simple as it can be.
• Your Visa Medical Certificate: Once all necessary assessments and tests are complete, we will fill out the necessary paperwork and your visa medical certificate will be ready for collection or delivery, based on your preferences
