Online Private Prescription

Midland Health has partnered with a highly reputable online pharmacy provider, Cloud Rx to ensure you receive your prescriptions directly to your home address as a next-day service. This way, you can be sure the medicine is available and delivered directly to your home or nominated address. No need for paper prescriptions or to have to go to multiple pharmacies to find the medicine that has been issued by our Midland Health doctors to you. How do I get a Private Prescription?

An appointment with one of our GPs is needed. You will discuss the health issues that you are most concerned about and our GP will be able to assess what is the right medicine that you need. You can opt for phone consultations or video consultations. Visit this page to find out more about booking an online consultation with one of our medical experts. Once the consultation is over, a prescription will be sent to you and you will be able to go to the nearest pharmacy and pick the medicine up.

In times when visiting your physical GP practice is not an option, opting for an online consultation can provide the same features. You will get your electronic prescription and then head to your local pharmacy to pick up your medications.

We ensure the complete confidentiality of your prescription. No one else is going to see it with the exception of the pharmacy and you. You don't have to worry about your data being shared with anyone else.

How much will my private prescription cost?

We offer private prescriptions as part of your consultation with no additional charge on your first prescription (we charge for repeat prescription), so you will always have easy access to the treatment you need. The medication that you need will be charged at the normal NHS prices.

Please note that any prescriptions issued in your consultation are included in your consultation fee. Any repeat prescriptions following this are charged at £25 per prescription.

Are my private consultations secure?

Private consultations are confidential and secure. Everything that you discuss with our GPs will only stay between you and them.

Can someone else collect my private prescription for me?

As long as they can confirm your name and address, they will be able to collect your private prescription.

Some common medications may be stocked on-site and can be issued at the time of consultation if appropriate. If you provide a list of prescribed medications from your previous healthcare provider, Midland Health will handle the rest and can offer private repeat prescriptions issued at your convenience.
