Prostate issues can easily affect and spread to other parts of the body, causing severe health complications. Spotting and dealing with them early is vital.
Our prostate clinic in Birmingham offers almost immediate support. You do not need a GP referral to see our expert consultants, and we have no waiting lists, so you can get the assistance you need quickly and easily.
We offer many advanced prostate treatments in-house and with our private hospital partners. We support you through the entire process, including your recovery, to ensure your well-being.
A prostate examination is the first step to assessing your prostate’s health. It can detect enlarged prostates or any other abnormalities requiring further examination.
If we need more information about your condition, we can conduct a PSA blood test, prostate biopsy, MRI or CT scan.
If we can treat your prostate issues with surgery, we will arrange a date with a private hospital near you. Our in-house consultant, Mr Bhatt, is a surgical specialist, meaning you will not have to wait on any lists for an expert.
We understand that you may have anxiety about attending an appointment. Here is what you can expect:
All our treatments start with an initial consultation and examination to assess your condition. Your doctor will ask about your medical history, perform a general health assessment and conduct required tests. Your results will inform our diagnosis.
Then we will discuss the available treatments and recommend the best options. Questions are only natural, and our consultants will address all your concerns to help you make an informed decision.
Our tests take roughly ten minutes, and the results will be available in a few days.
However, the length of the procedure depends on your condition and treatment plan. Our surgical procedures can take longer as they are more complex. The consultant will explain the process in detail when they recommend it.
We ask that you arrive fifteen minutes before your appointment to check in and complete any outstanding medical paperwork. It gives our consultants all the necessary information to conduct your examination and procedure without delay.
Our reception team will contact you before your appointment if you need to bring anything with you.
Our support does not stop after your treatment. Assisting you through recovery ensures your comfort and prevents recurring issues, so our consultants provide a detailed recovery plan and follow-up appointments to monitor your progress.
