Dr Rupa Parmar
Dr Parmar brings over a decade of expertise in private General Practice to Midland Health. Previously, she served as an NHS GP Partner for more than 10 years, fostering strong relationships with patients within the National Health Service. Now, as Medical Director, she leads the Midland Health team with a commitment to quality care and personalised attention.
Dr Parmar is passionate about preventative medicine and empowering patients to take charge of their health.
Dr Jacob Stendall
Dr Jacob Stendall, a Colombian-trained GP fluent in Spanish, boasts a unique background that enhances his patient care in Birmingham. Before transitioning to general practice, Dr Stendall went into the demanding world of Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. These years honed his skills in handling critical situations and complex medical issues. He then transitioned to a bustling general practice and urgent care centre, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of patients. This diverse background allows Dr Stendall to approach patient care with a well-rounded perspective, informed by his experience in both emergency medicine and general practice.
Dr Rakhee Thaker
Dr Rakhee Thaker, a Birmingham-trained doctor with a global perspective, boasts a diverse medical background. Following her training in 2003, she gained valuable clinical experience practising in Sydney, Australia. Returning to the UK, Dr Thaker further honed her expertise in both internal medicine and general practice, becoming a member of prestigious Royal Colleges. She then solidified her primary care skills as a partner at an NHS GP practice in West London. This international experience, enriched by a period of living and working in Asia, allows Dr Thaker to bring a wealth of knowledge to her current role at Midland Health.

The Harborne Hospital is conveniently located for patients travelling from within Birmingham, and surrounding areas. The facility is easily accessible from Birmingham City Centre via the A38 or Junction 4 of the M5 motorway. For your sat nav, enter the postcode B15 2FQ. Parking is complimentary, simply follow the signs for Car Park 1 on Wolfson Drive. Alternatively, there is a designated drop-off and collection point available for your convenience outside the main reception.
Please be aware that traffic can be heavy in the area before 9:00 AM. If you have an early morning appointment, we recommend allowing extra travel time to ensure you arrive on time for your consultation.
