Come and See Us on Francis Road

Our Francis Road clinic is located close to the centre of Birmingham, near the Five Ways roundabout in the suburbs of Edgbaston. With Five Ways train station a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride away, we are easily accessible from the surrounding areas and other larger cities. 

We are also easily accessible by car from either Broad Street, the A4540 or the A456 (Hagley Road). There’s parking on-site on a first-come, first-served basis, just follow the signs around the back of the centre. If there are none available, you can always use the multi-storey across the road.

Coming from Our Private GP Clinic in Edgbaston

From our original GP clinic on Highfield Road in Edgbaston, our Francis Road centre is only a 4-minute drive or a 12-minute walk. 

By Car: Coming out of Highfield Road towards Harbourne Road, turn right and continue up to Five Ways Island. Here, take the second exit turning onto Ladywood Middleway (A4540). Next, turn left onto Leyburn Road before taking the next left onto Francis Road.

On Foot: There is a quieter route avoiding the Five Ways roundabout. Walk back up to Harbourne Road and go straight across at the crossroads. Before the next left to Nicholson Drive, turn right and follow the road through the car park of Lydon House to end up on Hagley Road. Turn right and walk along, crossing at the traffic lights, to be able to turn left down Francis Road.

By Public Transport: If you are reliant on public transport, the Number 1 bus can take you part of the way. Walking to St Georges Church, this bus route can take you as far as Embassy Drive, leaving a 7-minute walk to and across Hagley Road and up Francis Road.
