Dr Vijay Suresh
Dr Vijay Suresh is a distinguished Senior Renal Consultant with 17 years of experience, primarily at the University Hospitals of Birmingham NHS Trust. Specialising in diabetic kidney disease, he is renowned for his expertise in managing complex hypertension, renal transplantation, and general medicine. As the Clinical Lead for the Solihull satellite haemodialysis unit, he ensures high-quality care delivery to patients in Birmingham and Solihull.
Dr Suresh has also served as the Clinical Lead for the Renal service and Divisional Medical Director, contributing significantly to healthcare delivery within the Trust. A dedicated educator, he mentors both undergraduate and postgraduate medical professionals and holds the esteemed position of Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Birmingham.
