Do I Need a Blood Test?

They're also essential for monitoring medication effects, ensuring proper treatment, and for routine preventive care, particularly as we age.

Essentially, they provide valuable insights into overall health status, enabling informed decision-making between individuals and healthcare providers.

What to Expect

At your private blood test appointment, you'll be checked in at our reception and any necessary paperwork will be completed. Once in the consultation room, one of our healthcare professionals will ensure you are comfortable and will then clean your arm ready to take a sample.

A small needle is used to draw blood, collecting it into tubes for analysis. After bandaging the puncture site and checking you are feeling ok, you will be told your post-test instructions. The process is routine and nothing to worry about, with the whole appointment generally lasting around 15 to 30 minutes.

What Happens Next?

Once your tests have been carried out, our healthcare experts will send these off to be analysed and our partner laboratory will interpret the results.

If necessary, you will be advised to book follow-up appointments and our team is on hand to support you in understanding your next steps.

How Long Will My Results Take?

Depending on the type of blood test you select, your results can take around a week to be thoroughly analysed. You will be notified as promptly as possible via email and we also ensure your results are shared with your Private GP and Consultant.

We Also Offer Allergy Testing

We can also support you if you are struggling with symptoms that could suggest you are experiencing an allergic reaction. Contact us if you suspect any of the following:
