Book an appointment with Midland Health to discuss any health concerns with one of our friendly GPs. Our professional GPs will provide advice and, if necessary, prescribe suitable medication.
2. Generating Your Prescription
Following your consultation, your prescription will be generated and sent directly to SignatureRx.
3. Delivering Your Prescription
SignatureRx aims to deliver most prescriptions the next day if processed before 4 pm. They stock thousands of commonly prescribed medicines, ensuring fast and reliable service.

Booking A Video Consultation With A GP
At Midland Health, we make private consultations accessible and flexible. Our private video consultation service allows you to discuss health concerns from the comfort of home.
During your online consultation, your GP may be able to diagnose your condition and prescribe medication. Prescriptions will then be sent to SignatureRx for delivery. Please note, video consultations may not cover all health needs. Your GP may request an in-person consultation before initiating treatment.
What Treatment Won't Midland Health Prescribe?
Midland Health doctors always have your best interests in mind. That is why we only prescribe suitable medicines and regularly review repeat prescriptions to ensure that we are meeting best practice guidelines. If you require a controlled drug prescription then you would need to email in advance and our GP team will then review each case to see if this is something we can assist with or not. We are very restricted with controlled drug prescribing so may not be able to offer this service to many patients.
One-Off Prescription Service
If you only need medication temporarily, such as pain relief or antibiotics, Midland Health’s online prescription service makes it simple. Your one-off prescription will be processed and delivered safely via SignatureRx.

Who are SignatureRx?

Is this system of prescribing legal and ethical?

How does the service work?
Once your prescription has been approved by a Midland Health GP, you will receive an email and text message confirming that SignatureRx has your prescription ready for dispensing. The message will include a link to a secure payment page, where you can complete payment for your medication and any delivery charges.
After payment, SignatureRx will prepare and dispatch your medication directly to your chosen address.
Who delivers the prescription medicines?
The medicines will be delivered by Royal Mail or DPD in plain, discreet packaging. We will let the patient know when we dispatch their medicines.
How much does delivery cost?
There are different services that can be selected depending on the patient’s preference:
- Royal Mail 24 Tracked is £4.90
- Royal Mail Special delivery is £6.90
- Royal Mail Special Saturday delivery is £9.50
- DPD Next day delivery £6.75
- DPD Saturday is £9.50
- DPD pre noon is £8.50
The patient paid for next-day delivery but the order has not arrived. What happens in this scenario?
It is possible that we received payment for the order after our cut-off of 4 pm for Royal Mail or 3 pm for DPD. Alternatively, it may be that there is a problem obtaining the medicine or it is not in stock. In this instance, the patient will be sent an email advising them of the issue.
What if the patient is out when the delivery arrives?
If no one is available to sign for the package it will be returned to your local postal depot where you will be required to collect or rearrange delivery.
Couriers will leave deliveries in a safe place or with a neighbour by prior arrangement. This can be set up through the DPD App.
Where does SignatureRx deliver to?
SignatureRx delivers prescriptions anywhere in the UK and Channel Islands, ensuring your medication reaches you quickly and safely.
Is the packaging discreet?
All orders are sent in plain, discrete packaging. Our name or logo is not displayed on the package and there is no indication of the contents.

During your consultation, your Midland Health GP may prescribe medication if appropriate. Once issued, your online prescription will be sent directly to SignatureRx. If SignatureRx receives your order before 4 pm, your medication will be dispatched for next-day delivery to your chosen address.
How long will I have to wait before my prescription is processed?
The SignatureRx team processes prescriptions promptly. If your prescription is received before 4 pm and the medication is in stock, it will be dispatched for next-day delivery to your chosen address.
How confidential and secure is the prescription online service?
Your private GP consultation and online prescription are completely confidential. Only your Midland Health GP and SignatureRx will have access to your prescription information, ensuring your data and medical details remain secure at all times.
Can you deliver my online private prescription to a different address?
Yes, you can. Please note that someone at the address will need to sign for the prescription.
