Peak Flow Test

The peak flow test is a quick and easy way of measuring air flowing out of the lungs. It is commonly used for the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions such as asthma. The test involves blowing as fast and as hard as you can into a plastic tube called a Peak Flow Meter. This will give your GP an indication of how open your airways are.
